Child Safety Standards

Last updated: June 2026

Zero tolerance

Filltr has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Filltr is an adults-only service for people aged 18 and over, and we age-gate every new account at sign-up. Anyone found to be a minor, or to engage in any CSAE, is removed immediately and permanently.

What is prohibited

We strictly prohibit: any child sexual abuse material (real, AI-generated, or animated); the sexualisation of minors; grooming, soliciting, or attempting to meet a minor; sharing or requesting sexual content involving anyone under 18; and any other content or behaviour that endangers a child. Violations result in immediate, permanent account termination and, where applicable, reporting to law enforcement.

How we prevent and detect it

We combat CSAE with layered safeguards: a mandatory 18+ age gate at sign-up; automated screening of uploaded images for explicit content; one-tap reporting on every profile, photo, and message; human review of reports by our safety team; and the ongoing integration of industry hash-matching against known-CSAM databases. We continuously strengthen these protections.

How to report

If you encounter content or behaviour that may involve a minor, report it immediately — use the in-app Report option on any profile, photo, or message, or email our safety team. We treat child-safety reports as our highest priority and act on them urgently.

Our response

When CSAE is identified or reported, we remove the content, permanently ban the account, and preserve relevant evidence as required by law. We report confirmed child sexual abuse material to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant authorities or hotlines in the European Union, and we cooperate fully with law enforcement.

Getting help

If you are a survivor, or are worried about a child, you can also contact a child-protection organisation directly — for example NCMEC’s CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) or an INHOPE member hotline in your country (inhope.org). In an emergency, contact your local authorities.
