Public Surfaces vs Private Content

Where content appears changes what is allowed. Our automated review applies a different standard to each surface:

Public — no nudity

Profile photos and feed posts are visible to people who have not chosen to see them, so explicit content is rejected automatically and is not published.

Private — consent decides

In direct messages and in your own private albums, adults may share explicit content with people they choose. Recipients can blur incoming explicit images by default, and album access can be revoked at any time.

What is never acceptable anywhere: sending explicit content to someone who did not ask for it, any sexual content involving minors, and sharing intimate images of another person without their consent. These are acted on immediately and, where the law requires it, reported.

Photo Review Process

All profile photos go through a review process before appearing on your public profile:

  1. 1

    Upload

You upload a photo in the app.

  2. 2

    Automated Check

AI scans for explicit content, known prohibited imagery, and policy violations.

  3. 3

    Approval or Rejection

Photos that pass are published to your profile. Rejected photos can be replaced.

Review typically completes within a few minutes. In rare cases, manual review may take up to 24 hours.

Enforcement

We take policy violations seriously. Depending on severity, we may take the following actions:

⚠️

Warning

First-time minor violations may receive a warning with content removal.

⏸️

Temporary Restriction

Repeated or moderate violations may result in temporary muting or feature restrictions.

🗑️

Content Removal

Violating content is removed from your profile or conversations.

🚫

Account Suspension

Serious violations lead to temporary or permanent account suspension.

⚖️

Legal Action

Illegal activity (NCII, threats, fraud) may be reported to law enforcement.

  • 1.Email appeals@filltr.de with your account email and a description of the issue.
  • 2.Include any relevant context or screenshots.
  • 3.We'll review within 3-5 business days and respond with our decision.
