Location issues
Filltr needs location permission to show people and posts near you.
Granting permission
Android Settings → Apps → Filltr → Permissions → Location: choose "While using the app". Restart the app after changing it.
How location is used
Distances shown to other users are approximate by design — your position is coarsened before anyone else sees anything, and you can hide distance entirely in Settings. Posts carry only a rough area (kilometre-scale), never a precise point.
Distance looks wrong
Because positions are deliberately approximate, small distances can differ from reality by a few kilometres. If everything shows as very far away, your device is likely serving a stale location — toggle location off and on, or briefly open a maps app to refresh the fix.
